VT-Z100 galvanized steel purlin is a direct replacement product for wooden purlins. The device is light in weight, stable in size, precise and straight. Galvanized steel purlins expand and contract properly during extreme temperature changes. Steel purlins are usually made of cold steel that is thin enough to insert screws into. Cold-formed steel is made by rolling or pressing thin steel sheets into the desired shape. It is less expensive for the manufacturer than hot rolled steel and is also easier to machine.
