Low Voltage Switchgear GCS002 EN is suitable for the distribution systems of power plants, oil and gas, chemicals, metallurgy, textiles, high-rise buildings, and other industries for controlling, protecting, and monitoring the system. The height of the drawer module is 160mm. There are five size types: 1/2 unit, 1 unit, 1.5 units, 2 units, and 3 units. The rated current of the unit circuit is 400A or less.

Main Features of Low Voltage Switchgear

• Enhances the heat dissipation capability of the converter and significantly reduces the additional temperature rise due to the converter’s temperature increase at the connectors, cable entries, and gaskets
• Clear and reliable separation between functional components and compartments, ensuring that the failure of one component does not affect the operation of others, thereby minimizing incidents
• Connections between the equipment and external cables are completed in the cable compartment, allowing cables to be inserted and removed vertically. Current transformers are installed in the cable compartment for convenient installation and maintenance
• The same power distribution system can limit short-circuit currents through the combination of current-limiting reactors, stabilizing bus voltage at a certain level and reducing some requirements for the short-circuit strength of the components
• The drawer has a sufficient number of auxiliary connectors (32 pairs for 1 unit and above, 20 pairs for 1/2 unit), which can meet the requirements for the number of computer interfaces and automatic control circuits

Operating Conditions for Low Voltage Switchgear

• Ambient Temperature: -5°C to 40°C; the average daily temperature should not exceed +35°C. In case of exceeding, the power will be reduced based on actual conditions
• Altitude: Not exceeding 2000m
• Relative Humidity: At a maximum temperature of 40°C, it should not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, higher relative humidity is allowed; for example, at 20°C, it can be 90%. Consideration should be given to temperature changes that may cause condensation effects
• Installation Tilt: The installation tilt should not exceed 5°. The entire switchgear assembly should be relatively level (according to GBJ232-82 standards)
• The switchgear must be installed in areas free from strong vibrations and impacts that could cause unnecessary corrosion to electrical components
